"When I was in school, I was very active. My parents encouraged my sisters and I to try everything, so I was a multi-sport athlete and tried nearly every sport offered to me at some point. Baton twirling, cheerleading, and gymnastics had my heart though, which led to college cheerleading scholarship. After college, getting married, working full-time, and having 2 boys, I didn't make time to take care of myself. I was overweight and it was causing some medical issues. In 2016 a neighbor and I tried a spin class, and I never looked back. What started as a weight loss journey for myself, changed my view of exercise. It has become my favorite form of stress relief and a way to fulfill my desire to help others. I am certified in POUND and HIGH Fitness, and a CrossFit Level 1 Trainer.

I live in Plainfield with my husband and kids, and outside of teaching classes, I work as a Regulatory Scientist in the Pharmaceutical Industry. My hobbies are spending time with my family, weightlifting, reading, baking, cooking, and anything crafty. "
